The Hazard

CLASS 1 WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD

Cobelae is recalling about 3,500 Busy Books. The beads on the apple page can come loose. This poses a deadly choking hazard to young children. Stop using the book immediately.

About 3,500 units affected.

Why This Happens: Technical Breakdown

The Cobelae Busy Book is being recalled because it violates safety standards. Specifically, the small parts ban. The apple on page eight has a string of beads. These beads can detach from the book. If a child puts these beads in their mouth, they could choke. Choking can lead to serious injury or even death.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has determined that these beads are small enough to be a choking hazard for young children. The book was sold on Amazon from October 2025 through November 2025. It’s important to check if you have this book and take action to protect your child.
