URGENT RECALL: ELENKER Bed Rails

Official Source: View Official Recall Notice | Published: April 06, 2026

The Hazard

CLASS 1 WARNING: ENTRAPMENT AND ASPHYXIATION

ELENKER bed rails are being recalled because they can trap people. This can lead to serious injury or death by suffocation. The bed rails do not meet safety standards. Stop using them immediately.

About 30 units are affected.

Why This Happens: Technical Breakdown

The bed rails have gaps where a person can get stuck. This can happen between the rail and the mattress, or within the rail itself. If someone gets trapped, they may not be able to breathe. This is called asphyxiation. Because of this risk, the bed rails do not meet the required safety standards for adult portable bed rails.
