The Hazard
POISONING
Mindbodygreen is recalling its Ultimate Multivitamin+ dietary supplements because the packaging isn’t child-resistant. These multivitamins contain iron, which can be dangerous or even deadly to children if they swallow too many. It’s important to keep these supplements out of reach of children to prevent accidental poisoning.
About 148,370 bottles are affected. No injuries have been reported so far.
Technical Breakdown
The recall is happening because the multivitamin bottles don’t meet the safety standards for child-resistant packaging. This means kids might be able to open the bottles easily and swallow the pills inside. Iron supplements, even in small amounts, can be very harmful to children, leading to serious health problems and, in rare cases, even death.
Mindbodygreen sold these multivitamins online from November 2021 to November 2025. The company is asking consumers to check their bottles and follow the instructions to get a refund or replacement.
