Technical Breakdown

The problem is that the packaging for the Tuymec Minoxidil Hair Growth Kit doesn’t meet the safety standards required to keep kids safe from accidentally swallowing dangerous substances. Minoxidil, the active ingredient, can be very harmful to children if ingested. The Poison Prevention Packaging Act requires that products like this have child-resistant packaging to prevent accidental poisonings.

Because the packaging isn’t child-resistant, it’s easy for kids to open the bottles and swallow the serum. This can lead to serious health problems. It’s super important to keep this product out of reach of children until you can get a refund or other solution from the company.

The kits contain two black spray bottles with labels that read “Tuymec Minoxidil Hair Hair Growth”, “Advanced Formula” and “5% Minoxidil with BIOTIN”. The kits come in black cartons with white and silver lettering that include “Drug Facts” on the back, distributor information on one of its sides, three icons making product claims on its other side, and batch, manufacture and expiration dates on its bottom.
