URGENT RECALL: Cpzzkq Baby Loungers

The Hazard

SUFFOCATION

Cpzzkq baby loungers are being recalled because they don’t meet safety standards for infant support cushions. The padding in these loungers can block a baby’s breathing, creating a serious risk of suffocation and even death. You should stop using these loungers immediately to protect your baby.

About 2,100 units affected. No injuries have been reported.

Technical Breakdown

The CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) has determined that these baby loungers pose a significant suffocation risk. The loungers fail to meet mandatory safety standards designed to prevent infant suffocation. The padding in the lounger can shift or bunch up, potentially obstructing an infant’s airway, especially if the baby rolls over or is placed in an unsafe sleeping position.

This issue stems from the lounger’s design and materials. The specific construction of the foam padding and the cloth cover doesn’t provide adequate support and airflow. This creates a hazardous environment where a baby’s breathing can be easily compromised. Because of this dangerous design flaw, CetoPMax is issuing a recall of these loungers.
