The Hazard
INGESTION
Gavoyeat is recalling Halloween Light-Up Rings because the button batteries inside can be easily taken out by kids. If swallowed, these batteries can cause serious injuries, chemical burns inside the body, and even death. This product doesn’t meet the safety standards for toys, making it extra dangerous.
About 800 units were sold. No injuries have been reported.
Technical Breakdown
These light-up rings have a design flaw: the batteries are easy for children to access. Young children often put things in their mouths, and small button batteries are a choking hazard. More importantly, if a child swallows a button battery, it can cause severe burns in their throat or stomach in as little as two hours.
These burns can lead to long-term health problems or even death. The rings were sold on Amazon, meaning they reached many homes without proper safety checks. The company is asking everyone to stop using the rings immediately to prevent any accidents.

- ACT: Throw away the light-up rings. Remove and safely dispose of the batteries, and then send the photo to recalledgavoyeat@yeah.net for refund information.
