The Hazard

CLASS 1 WARNING: INGESTION

GLMZZ is recalling their Fidget Magnet Ball Toys. The magnet balls are too strong. If swallowed, the magnets can stick together inside the body. This can cause serious injuries, blood poisoning, or even death.

About 9,350 units are affected.

Why This Happens: Technical Breakdown

These magnet ball toys are dangerous because they have strong magnets. If a child swallows more than one magnet, the magnets can attract each other inside the body. This can cause the intestines to twist, get blocked, or get holes in them. This can lead to serious infections and even death.

The toys also break the rules for toy safety. Toys with small parts that can be swallowed are not allowed for young children. These magnet balls are small enough to be swallowed, making them a choking hazard too. This is why it’s important to stop using these toys right away and get a refund.
