URGENT RECALL: SLF Sauna Blankets

The Hazard

FIRE, BURN

Tzumi Electronics is recalling SLF Sauna Blankets because they can get too hot. This can create a risk of fire or burns to your skin. Stop using the blanket immediately to prevent injury or damage to your property.

About 3,600 units are affected. Tzumi has received six reports of overheating, including five reports of minor property damage.

Technical Breakdown

The sauna blankets have been found to overheat during use. This is due to a potential flaw in the heating element or its control system. If the blanket overheats, it could start a fire or cause burns to anyone using it, especially if they are asleep or have reduced sensation.

Tzumi Electronics has received reports of the sauna blankets overheating. Some of these reports included minor damage to furniture near the blankets. To prevent further incidents and potential injuries, the company is recalling all affected blankets.
