The Hazard

CLASS 1 WARNING: ENTRAPMENT AND FALL HAZARDS

Sofoliana and Glotika baby loungers are being recalled. They don’t meet safety standards for infant sleep products. Babies can fall out or get trapped, which could lead to serious injury or death.

None reported

Why This Happens: Technical Breakdown

These baby loungers are not safe for infants. The sides of the loungers are too low. This means a baby could easily roll off and fall. The openings at the bottom of the loungers are also too wide. A baby could get stuck in these openings.

These design flaws violate safety rules for infant sleep products. The loungers do not properly contain the baby. This creates a dangerous situation where the baby could be injured or even die. Because of these dangers, you should stop using these loungers immediately.
