Sanven has received two reports of thermal events, including one fire.

The Vevor ice crushers are being recalled because they can overheat during use. This overheating can lead to a thermal event, which includes the possibility of a fire. The issue stems from a potential flaw in the machine’s internal components or wiring. When the machine is used to crush ice, the motor and other electrical parts may work harder than they are designed to.
This excessive strain can cause the components to overheat rapidly. If the heat is not properly dissipated, it can ignite nearby materials within the machine, leading to a fire. The risk is increased with prolonged use or if the machine is used to crush large quantities of ice at once.
