The Hazard

CLASS 1 WARNING: CRASH HAZARD

Yamaha is recalling certain golf car vehicles. The brakes on these vehicles might fail. This could cause a crash, leading to serious injury or death. Stop using the recalled golf cars immediately.

About 4,300 units are affected.

Why This Happens: Technical Breakdown

The recalled Yamaha golf car vehicles have a problem with their brakes. The brake shoes and pads can fail. This means the brakes might not work when you try to stop the vehicle.

If the brakes fail, the golf car could crash. This could cause serious injuries to the driver and passengers. It could even lead to death. Yamaha is offering a free repair to fix this problem.
