The Hazard

CLASS 1 WARNING: ENTRAPMENT AND FALL HAZARDS

Alinux is recalling baby loungers. The loungers fail to meet safety standards for infant sleep products. They pose a risk of entrapment and falls, which could lead to serious injury or death.

Why This Happens: Technical Breakdown

The Alinux baby loungers are being recalled because they don’t meet important safety rules. The sides of the lounger are too short. This means a baby could easily roll out and fall. Also, the openings at the bottom of the lounger are too wide. A baby could get stuck in these openings.

These problems create a dangerous sleeping space for babies. If a baby falls out, they could get hurt. If a baby gets trapped, they could suffocate. The loungers also lack a stand, making them unsafe for use on tables or other high surfaces, increasing the risk of falls.
