The Hazard

CLASS 1 WARNING: ENTRAPMENT AND FALL HAZARDS

BBWOO is recalling baby loungers. The loungers pose a risk of serious injury or death to infants. Babies can roll off or get trapped in the lounger. This violates safety standards for infant sleep products.

About 11,900 units are affected.

Why This Happens: Technical Breakdown

The BBWOO baby loungers are being recalled because they don’t meet the required safety standards for infant sleep products. These standards are in place to protect babies from potential harm. The loungers have a design that creates a risk of entrapment. This means a baby could get stuck in the lounger and be unable to breathe.

Additionally, the loungers pose a fall hazard. Babies could roll off the side of the lounger and get injured. Because of these dangers, the loungers are not safe for infants. Parents and caregivers should stop using them immediately to prevent accidents and injuries.
