URGENT RECALL: DGIVOVO US Electric Pressure Washers

The Hazard

ELECTROCUTION

DGIVOVO US is recalling their electric pressure washers because they don’t have a GFCI (ground-fault circuit interrupter). This means if something goes wrong with the electrical system, you could get a serious or deadly electric shock while using the pressure washer. It’s super important to stop using these pressure washers right away.

50 units sold. No injuries reported.

Technical Breakdown

These pressure washers are missing a critical safety feature: a ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI). A GFCI is designed to quickly shut off power if it detects an electrical fault, preventing dangerous shocks. Without a GFCI, if water gets into the electrical components of the pressure washer, or if there’s a short circuit, the electricity could flow through the user’s body, leading to severe injury or death.

The absence of this safety mechanism poses an immediate and serious risk, especially considering the pressure washer is used with water, increasing the likelihood of electrical contact. The pressure washers were sold online from October 2025 through January 2026, meaning there are potentially many units in homes that could pose a safety risk. So far, no injuries have been reported, but the potential for harm is significant.
