The Hazard
CLASS 1 WARNING: ENTRAPMENT
Ikuso is recalling their safety gates. A child’s body can fit through the gate. This poses a serious risk of injury or death to children. Stop using these gates immediately.
None reported
Why This Happens: Technical Breakdown
The Ikuso safety gates have a dangerous design flaw. The space between the gate and the wall is too large. This opening allows a child’s torso to fit through. If a child gets stuck, they could be seriously injured or even die from entrapment. This violates safety standards for gates.
