The Hazard

CLASS 1 WARNING: HEAD INJURY

Semfri is recalling children’s helmets. These helmets don’t meet safety standards. They might not protect your child’s head in a crash. This could lead to serious injury or even death.

None reported

Why This Happens: Technical Breakdown

The recalled helmets fail to meet required safety standards for bicycle helmets. This means they might not absorb enough impact during a crash. The helmets also might not stay in the correct position on the head. Important safety labels might also be missing or incorrect.

Because of these issues, the helmets could fail to protect a child’s head during a fall or collision. This significantly increases the risk of a serious head injury. The company is urging consumers to stop using these helmets immediately.
