The Hazard

CLASS 1 WARNING: BURN HAZARD

TheKiddoSpace is recalling LED soccer hover balls. The batteries in these toys can get too hot. This can cause burn injuries if a child touches the toy.

TheKiddoSpace has received three reports of a burning smell coming from the hover ball when in use. No injuries have been reported.

Why This Happens: Technical Breakdown

The hover balls have a problem with their batteries. The batteries can overheat when the toy is being used. This overheating can cause the surface of the toy to get very hot. If a child touches the hot surface, they could get burned. This problem violates safety standards for toys.

The company received reports of a burning smell coming from the hover balls. This is a sign that the batteries are overheating. Even though no injuries have been reported yet, the risk of burns is serious. That’s why the company is recalling the hover balls to prevent injuries.
