Why This Happens: Technical Breakdown
The YOLAAH bed rails are being recalled because they don’t meet the required safety standards for adult portable bed rails. When attached to a bed, there’s a risk that a person could become trapped within the bed rail itself. They could also get stuck between the bed rail and the side of the mattress.
This entrapment poses a serious hazard. If someone is trapped, they could suffocate. The bed rails also lack the necessary warning labels to alert users to these dangers. This makes the product unsafe for use.
