The Hazard

CLASS 1 WARNING: FIRE AND BURN HAZARD

EcoFlow Technology is recalling Delta Max 2000 Power Stations. These power stations can overheat. Overheating can cause a fire or serious burn injury. Stop using the power station immediately.

EcoFlow Technology has received six reports of the recalled Power Stations catching fire, with property damage totaling over $850,000.

Why This Happens: Technical Breakdown

The EcoFlow Delta Max 2000 power stations are being recalled because they can overheat. This overheating issue can lead to the power stations catching fire. This poses a significant risk to consumers. It can cause serious burn injuries and property damage.

The problem stems from a potential defect in the power station’s internal components. This defect can cause the battery to become unstable. When the battery is unstable, it generates excessive heat. This heat can then ignite the power station’s casing or nearby flammable materials.
